As we walk along a wooden walkway towards Punta Prima, we leave behind Es Pujols. Our eyes are brimming with the beauty of these beaches as we pass them on our left. When the walkway comes to an end, we continue walking into a flat terrain, with earthen paths that are protected from the sea by unique rock structures that have been eroded by humans and by the elements. The contrast between their roughened shapes and the intense blues of the Mediterranean sea is surprising. Then, when we least expect it, we start to come across a multitude of spaces in between the rocks that are covered by incredibly fine white sand, as if placed there to soften this wild landscape. We decide it is a good moment to rest a while at one of those welcoming spaces. How right we are to do so…
